Universal Serial Bus 2.0 systems consist of USB host control chip and equipment interface control chip, i.e. peripheral device chip. The traditional USB developing is only to develop USB peripheral devices, USB2.0 peripheral devices IP core has great application foregrounds. In USB2.0 system, peripheral devices are connected with host to achieve all kinds of transactions, such as bulk, interrupt, control, and isochronous transactions. How to detect and simulate signals of designed USB2.0 peripheral devices IP core system is an important problem. Combining with actual project, this paper presents a set of detailed detecting and simulating methods for signals of USB2.0 peripheral devices IP core system, which include signal analyzing, circumstance configuring, modules designing, state machines developing, and detecting and simulating methods of main signals, such as SYNC signal, EOP signal, PID signal, NRZI decoding data signal, CRC signal, and some main signal packages. Application results show these methods are valid.
