Development of High-speed Railway and China Rail Freight Transportation

摘要

With the development of China's high-speed railway, the railway transport capacity has been rapidly enhanced. Rapid economic/social development and industrial structure optimization have resulted in sharp increase of high value-added finished products, container and other cargo transport demand. In the new situation, China's railway freight faces unprecedented development opportunity. It is important to study the development of high-speed railway and China rail freight transportation. In this paper, the influence of the development of China's high-speed railway on railway freight transport is analyzed, a series of measures on the innovation of China railway freight organization, and the corresponding achievements are introduced, finally the development strategy after separate freight from passenger transport is discussed.
