Study on the land use change and its affect of the landscape ecological risk are the basis of realizing region land ecological security and sustainable development. This paper takes Bayan county as the research area, takes the imagery interpretation data of 1991 and 2006 as the basic data, explores using the land-type conversion rate and ecological risk index measure method, analysis the land use change situation, the land-type conversion situation and the ecological risk situation in the 15 years, so as to find the relationship between the land use change and its landscape ecological risk. The results show that: cultivated land is always the main landscape in the study area, and the conversion rate of forest land, garden land and grass land is higher relatively; the relationship between land use change and its ecological risk shows that the higher the land area is, and the fewer the plaques number has, the ecological risk index is lower, conversely is higher, and the ecological risk of grass land is the highest, the change of the ecological risk of the unused land is the biggest.
