The Research on the Group Urbanization of Changjiang River Delta Cities and Eco-environment

Urban agglomeration is an important form of urban regional development and the concentrated performance of a region's economic power. The level of urbanization in the city groups is a significant standard to measure a city's development, but to increase the level of urbanization blindly and ignore the ecological and environmental protection will make the development of urban agglomerations unsustainable, thereby reducing the leading role of urban agglomeration in regional development. In order to make healthy and sustainable development of city groups, this paper makes deep study on the issues of the coordinated development of urbanization and ecoenvironment. We build the evaluation index system of urbanization and eco-environmental development level, then we determine the weight of each index in urbanization and eco-environment, and make calculations of the 16 cities'urbanization and eco-environmental development level on the Changjiang River Delta city group. We calculate the degree of coordinated development of the 16 cities' urbanization and eco-environmental development and divide 16 cities into four kinds of development type. The research shows that the 16 cities differs a lot in the level of the sustainable development between Urbanization and Eco-environment. Finally we give suggestions to the development of each type of cities.
