As one of the most important components for building efficiency market, Building energy efficiency service (BEES) affects market availability and feasibility. The related current studies focus on individual case study and experiences review, and the research for demand and supply of BEES is still blurred. The present study is concerned with the BEES market structure based on qualitative analysis. On the supply side, according to the source and nature of BEES in China, the definition and classification of BEES market are set up. On the demand side, the BEES market system and energy service company (ESCO) type are established. Based on the analysis, the potential consumer group is identified, including government official building, large-scale public building, campus building and residential building. Besides that, the BEES priorities are defined correspondingly. The results suggest that the framework of BEES market in China is useful to improve the availability of BEES according to different circumstances in China.
