@@In our work, a novel P-N containing flame retardant 4, 4'-di(cyclic 1, 3-dimethylpropanediol phosphamide) diphenyl methane (DPM) was synthesized by two-step reaction shown in Schem 1. The structure of DPM was characterized by FTIR and NMR. The thermal performance of DPM was also studied by thermogravimetry (TG). The results of FTIR and NMR showed that the DPM was synthesized successfully. The results of TG showed that there was good thermal stability with DPM which suitable to the processing of most resin.
