Measuring the Influence of International Intellectual Capital on Microsoft Taiwan Process Innovation Competency

In the era of globalization,many issues become of great importance within an internationalized company,such as innovation and circulation of human capital.Therefore,this study aims at examining the model improved from the IPOT Research Model,developed by Shih & Tseng (2009) on the basis of the theory developed by Panne et.al.(2003).framework of innovation success,within which organization factor,project-related factor,human-related factor,and market-related factor are analyzed.In this study,a fifth factor-demographic factor,is added because of the undeniable importance of human capital in international companies.The results of most of these factors are significant,with its R2 standing at 0.982,showing that the five factors in the framework have positive influential power upon a firm's process innovation to produce successful products or services.Moreover,how international human capital has influence through those five factors on successful product or services is discussed.Since the innovation competencies are essentials for the new product designs and technical service improvement of IT industries to become profitable,an empirical study on Microsoft Taiwan,one of the top internationalized companies in world's IT industry will be used as the target participant for verifying the effectiveness of the analytic framework.
