ON INTEGER FREQUENCY OFFSET ESTIMATION FOR OFDM SYSTEM

In this paper, we propose a new algorithm for estimating integer frequency offset for OFDM system. The proposed scheme compensates for the integer frequency offset using a training symbol. The proposed scheme shows better performance than the existing algorithm at low SNR (signal to noise ratio). We verify the estimation performance of the proposed algorithm through the computer simulation results.
