Comparative Analysis of the Supply Situation of Chinese Medicine Service System in Hubei Province

The policy of the traditional Chinese medicine was researched in this paper. Firstly, the stages of Chinese medicine policy since 1949 were introduced. Secondly, the characteristics and advantages of the traditional Chinese medicine in Hubei province were studied. Thirdly, the policy measures and economic indicators of Hubei province were compared with other provinces. Fourthly, the problems which Hubei confronted with to develop Chinese medicine were analyzed. Fifthly, the conclusions were drawn. According to this paper, in order to fully play the role of Chinese medicine for the public's health and promote the development of the traditional Chinese medicine in Hubei, national government should increase heavy investment for developing the Chinese medicine industry. And provincial health department should implement the government's preferential policies to the prosperity of the state hospital for Chinese medicine. Then the medical institutions should be encouraged to provide the service and technology of the traditional Chinese medicine. In addition, the service capabilities of Chinese medicine should be strengthened and improved.
