An Expert PID Control Algorithm Based on Anti-integration Saturation

Expert PID is a direct expert control algorithm, which combines the expert experience with conventional PID algorithm. When using expert PID, it is not necessary to know the accurate mathematical model of controlled object. Actually, the integral saturation usually occurs while the desired value increases or decreases greatly, or the system output deviates from the desired value for a long time without getting correction. In this paper, a kind of anti-integral saturation expert PID control algorithm is proposed, and the control deviation is the determining factor whether adding integral action to the expert PID or not. Obtained results show the proposed algorithm is stable and reliable. Compared with conventional expert PID algorithm, the system response is rapid, has no oscillation and overshoot, and the dynamic and steady-state performance is excellent.
