Aluminum foam has the characteristics of absorbing energy. Corrugated structure has the damping effect. But both a single material and a simple structure have either a low impact or damage tolerance. Multi-layer corrugated structure is designed in order to improve the shock resistance. Numerical studies on dynamic behavior of multi-layer corrugated structure to blast loading are conducted in this paper. By analyzing the calculated displacement and energy curves, we concluded that wave impedance has a great influence on the change of material internal energy. The shock wave duration in aluminum foam is longer. Shock wave attenuates rapidly in corrugated plate, which means energy absorption is related to material compressibility. The transmission coefficient and reflection coefficient of multiplayer materials is discussed to analysis the propagation law of shock wave in a four-layer corrugated plate.
