In order to study the Born coated with LiF on the performance and reaction behavior of underwater explosives,a series of underwater explosion (UNDEX) tests that used a I kg cylindrical charge was conducted underwater at a depth of 8m. The pressure histories of the shock wave produced at different positions and the bubble periods were measured. Based on the experimental results of the shock wave.the coefficients of similarity law equation for the peak pressure and attenuation time constant of shock wave were in acceptable agreement. The result show that, underwater effective total energy of RDXI(LiF -B)-based explosives was higher than RDXIB-based explosives.
