This paper discusses the problem of road surface marking recognition and road surface quality evaluation using a deep learning neural network. The first chapter presents an analysis of the existing problem and statement of the problem. The second chapter discusses related work of road surface defects classification problem. The third chapter proposes the development of a convolution neural network model for recognizing road surface quality and detecting road markings. The fourth chapter describes the assessment of the quality of the resulting convolution neural network model. The obtained results can be applied in road organizations for monitoring of the road surface.
