Amplitude-noise and Timing-jitter Reduction via Pulsed Injection Locking of SOA Fiber Ring Laser

We demonstrate the amplitude-noise and timing-jitter reduction of repetition pulses by the injection locking of an SOA fiber ring laser. Amplitude-noise and timing-jitter are successfully reduced from 3.50～6.46% to 0～2.68% and 0.41～4.07ps to 0.38～3.07ps, respectively.
