The work is devoted to the automation of the design of electrical substations. In particular, this article addresses the issue of automated selection and verification of electrical equipment of primary circuits of switchgears. The algorithm proposed in the work of automated selection and verification of electrical devices can significantly reduce the time spent by the designer on this operation. The algorithm developed by the authors is implemented in CAD of electrical substations. The work is carried out with the financial support of a grant from the President of the Russian Federation for young scientists - candidates of sciences MK-939.2019.8.
