Design of Ultra-Lift Luo Converter for Pumping Applications

This paper proposes a novel approach to Ultra-Lift LUO converter which is suitable for pumping applications. In now a days, utilizing of the dc-dc converters are increased because of the vast applications like locomotives, mobile charging and for utilizing the power generated from Solar and wind power plants. The voltage-lift (VL) technique was successfully applied in the design of DC-DC converters. Using the Voltage-lift technique the converter can obtain high-voltage transfer gain. The super-lift technique has been given much attention since it yields high-voltage transfer gain. The Ultra-lift (UL) LUO-converter is introduced as a novel approach to the new technology, ultra-lift technique, produces higher voltage transfer gain. Analysis and calculation of the UL-LUO converter illustrates the advanced characteristics of the converter. It projects the proposed Ultra-Lift LUO converter circuit which shows better results of high voltage transfer gain. The proposed circuit is simulated and validated with the theoretical results.
