This paper is devoted to the implementation features and problems of the systems for power utilities plant assets management. Within this study, the authors analyzed the plant assets management current state-of-the-art as in the case of power utilities of the Russian Federation. The paper also presents an analysis of the Big Data and industry digitalization impact on the structure of systems for power utilities plant assets management and suggests its beachhead organization as a unified system for organizing technological and business processes. The operation algorithms, the main components of the intelligent system for managing plant assets of an electric power company are described in detail, and special attention is paid to the implementation of the knowledge base of such a system. Approaches based on machine learning algorithms are proposed as algorithms for processing and analyzing data.
