PARLAY X WEB SERVICES FOR OPEN ACCESS TO RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

摘要

The paper presents analysis on resource management mechanisms in Internet Protocol based multimedia networks. Requirements for open access to network functions for Service-Based Local Policy control are identified and current capabilities for quality of service management are accessed. The focus is on interfaces of Parlay X Web Services. Improvements to the interfaces are suggested to meet the requirements for open access to resource management.
