This article is devoted to the analysis of existing approaches to the processing of heterogeneous data in order to select the optimal approach for solving problems of diagnosing complex technical systems by the example of digital substations. In this article, heterogeneous data refer to the data obtained from the means of monitoring the state of individual objects. To this end, a simulation model was developed for an electrical substation based on the diakoptics method. All components of the system, regardless of their physical principles of functioning, are presented in the form of electrical submodels. The equivalent circuits, based on operational amplifiers, are used. The model simulates the operation of measuring current and voltage transformers, a power transformer, a circuit breaker and relay protection. The calculation of the potentials of the nodes of the developed scheme by the operator method and the method of diakoptics is carried out.
