Since their invention, ferromagnetic materials and products made of them have found the most widespread use in radio electronics and computer technology, among other soft magnetic materials. Besides the fact that ferromagnetic products in most cases can effectively replace products made from other materials, they possess a number of unique physicochemical, magnetic and electrical properties that are not inherent in any other material. One of the most important branches of the use of ferromagnets is their use as cores for various electromagnets. Their use is continuously expanding: the production of structural and electrical steels, low-coercive alloys with special properties (hysteresis-free, with a rectangular hysteresis loop, etc.), high-coercive magnet materials is growing. In this regard, monitoring and diagnostics of electromagnets with a ferromagnetic magnetic core in laboratory and industrial conditions become a very important task. In this article, a model of an electromagnet is built in the Microcap software package and a regression model is studied using the Statistica program.
