According to statistical data on faults in distribution networks, some 6(10) kV cable lines fail to provide service life declared by manufacturers due to stochastic influence of numerous factors. In this paper, we consider improvement of cable line aging law under operation conditions based on the fuzzy logic theory, including rating of factors influencing cable lines longevity based on expert evaluation with linguistic variables, creation of triangular-shaped membership function for the most important factor group, calculation of difference between the declared cable line lifetime and unaccounted factor fuzzy sets and graphical interpretation of those and correlation of the obtained results with statistical data.
