Insulation Design and Simulation for Three-Phase Concentric High-Temperature Superconducting Cable Under 10-kV Power System

摘要

Compared with conventional cables, the high-temperature superconducting cables have advantages in a small volume, large capacity, high current density, low losses, and environmental friendship, which brings a new power electricity transmission method for the future power grid. With the development of the important researches in high-temperature superconducting materials, many projects with superconducting cables have been applied in the power system. This paper introduced a main insulation design for three-phase concentric high-temperature superconducting cable under 10-kV power system. AC puncturing test under power frequency and lighting puncture test have been achieved.
