This paper presents optimization of function control action for the electric drive with field regulated reluctance machine (FRRM). The optimization problem formulates a spatial magnetomotive force of the stator for different variants of power supplies of windings with account for limitation as a written equation of connection. The scheme of power supply includes individual current sources for each phase and scheme with two independent inverters operated in parallel. The FRRM is compared with a traditional reluctance machine powered with a sine voltage. When reluctance machine is powered with a sine voltage, the value of q is lower than to the original case. The optimal ratio is discussed in the article; an approximate analytical analysis can provide an initial assessment of decisions taken, which significantly reduces their time.
