A Survey and Research Model for Vehicular Communication and Security Challenges

摘要

The last years have witnessed a dramatic increase in all technologies related to wireless and IOT communication systems. This trend is driven by the various connectivity requirements generated by a plethora of devices that were inserted to the Internet of Things (IoT) networks. One main direction, that has also as background a huge commercial market, is the Vehicular IoT with all its ramifications and specialized sensor and data exchange implications as well as security and privacy issues. This paper will do a brief survey of the main trends and evolutions that have taken place recently and that are related to the mentioned subjects, introducing also briefly the author's own research project.
