With the development of the application technology of HTS, the research of HTS in generator field is becoming more and more important, especially the linear generator [1]. Linear generators are divided into three types, unilateral, bilateral and cylindrical. Cylindrical linear generators can eliminate the polar attraction and transverse end effects, and become the preferred type of linear generators. This paper puts forward a design scheme of cylindrical moving-coil superconducting linear synchronous generator (CMSLSG), and uses COMSOL software to model and simulate it. The results show that the performance of the CMSLSG is better than that of the traditional permanent magnet linear synchronous generator (PMLSG).
