The 500 W/4.5 K helium cryogenic system of the HL-2M Tokamak experimental device of Southwestern Institute of Physics, China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC-SWIP) is mainly used to cool down the extraction cryopump of diverter and the condensate cryopump of neutral beam injection. The refrigeration system is one of the main components of the cryogenic system. It has been designed and developed in collaboration with the domestic Fullcryo company. This system has been completed the factory commissioning at the end of last year in 2019. This paper presents the performance characteristics of the main key equipment in the refrigeration system.
