We investigate adaptive coding and modulation (ACM) with orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA) relative to maintaining high-frequency utilization efficiency according to the change of power and frequency bandwidth limited channels on Ka-band high-throughput satellite (HTS) systems. Using the DVB-S2X modulation scheme for OFDMA, implementation of ACM results in improved frequency utilization efficiency.
