摘要

Gait Analysis has been utilized to assist medical practitioners in diagnosis of various biomechanical deficiencies. Besides that, gait analysis were also applicable in various instances from footwear designs to development of various rehabilitation equipment. Hence, as such a dedicated gait database will be empirical in comparison between normal and abnormal. This paper outlines the development of such normaltive database primarily based on the Malaysian demographics. The study also found that normative data collection thus far shows that in this study demographics, the data agrees with currently available published reference data. Since the development of such database is still in its infancy in Malaysia, there will be much further development opportunities in this area of study.
