摘要

A in-phase coupled quadrature injection-locked oscillator (QILO) with Transformer-based I/Q-phase differential injection scheme is proposed in this paper. The proposed transformer-based orthogonal injection scheme contributes to widen the locking range considerably. The in-phase coupling scheme improves both phase noise and IQ mismatch. Designed in a 65nm CMOS technology, post-layout simulation results indicate that the QILO achieves a total locking range from 53.1-to-64.5 GHz.
