This paper is about IOT Application: Smart Irrigation System to Improve Crop Production. The objectives of this project are to investigate the parameters needs to be monitor to improve crops production, to select the suitable sensor to measure the parameters, to integrate and test the sensor to measure on selected microcontroller system, to investigate and integrate the Internet of things (IoT) platform using selected microcontroller and to demonstrate the working prototype of monitoring soil condition. For this proposed project, Roselle plant will be used for experimental purposed. So, the parameters required for producing a better crop are investigated. The main function of this project is to monitor moisture of the soil, temperature of the soil, and environmental condition like temperature and humidity. This project required a manual operation to supply water to the crop. Besides that, this project also will automatically detect the moisture of the soil, temperature of the soil, and environmental condition like temperature and humidity. This project also can be monitor through a website interfacing by implementing the IOT function. This proposed project can be applied to all types of fruit crops and vegetables depend on the size of the fruit tree or vegetables.
