摘要

In this paper, hybrid finite element method/method of moments (FEM/MoM) is introduced to study the scattering from a coated object above a rough surface. Based on RWG basis function, the surface integral boundary is applied as the truncated boundary of FEM, and FEM can be easily used to simulate the coated object based on tetrahedral elements. The interaction between the object and the rough surface can be considered by MoM. In previous works, there are few paper published to study the composite models of a coated object above a rough surface by FEM/MoM. However, studies on the coated object have played particularly important role in the stealth materials and target detection. In this paper, the hybrid FEM/MoM is applied to study the scattering properties of a coated object above a conducting rough surface.
