All-digital positron emission tomography (PET) system based on multi-voltage threshold sampling method has high count-rate and flexible system structure. We have begun to build a novel positron emission tomography system designed on the basis of the multi voltage threshold digital technology for imaging of moving objects. To build this system, we need to develop dynamic mapping algorithms for matching the line of response (LOR) data to the moving object. The method in this work applies the re-binning of the coordinates of the detector pairs that define a line of response to the all-digital quad-head positron emission tomography. We need to calculate the intersection points of the transformed line of response and each panel, and determine whether the points are in the panel. The results show that this method is effective for slow and fast motion of moving objects.
