In this paper, a innovative three dimensional anode-supported Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) model with pressure equalization slots is developed by Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) methods. The pressure equalization applied in microreactor is introduced to SOFC flow field design optimization. The comparison between traditional parallel gas channel design and advanced design is finished, including the flow uniformity and cell performance parameters. Finally, the optimized SOFC model with pressure equalization slots has stronger performance than traditional planar SOFC model with parallel gas channels, which is able to be used as the future SOFC model design and optimization.
