Ringing Test for Third-Order Ladder Low-Pass Filters

A proposed ringing test for 3^{rd-order ladder low-pass filters is presented. As a high-order network operates in under-damping, ringing occurs and makes the system unstable. The alternating current conservation technique is proposed to measure the self-loop function in a transfer function. The values of theoretical calculation are verified by the SPICE simulation and practical measurement results.}
