摘要

The purpose of this study is to determine the role of the need-based psychological and action-based behavioral variables on tacit knowledge sharing. A survey based research is conducted with the 101 suppliers of a US service organization. Results indicate the significance of behavioral as well as psychological variables: mutual dependency and organizational linkage as well as psychological variables such as trust and commitment relate to knowledge sharing between buyer and suppliers. Findings show that mutual understanding and collective responsibility and planning for the future by buyer and suppliers contribute to an effective knowledge sharing.
