摘要

A comprehensive rheological study involving both controlled shear stress and strain rate measurements was performed on four commercially available products and together with microscopic analysis of the gel microstructure the findings were used to predict and compare differences in expected and observed product behavior. The shear thinning and recovery profiles and in particular the higher measured elasticity of the samples containing the hyaluronic acid in larger particulate form suggest that these products would exhibit superior performance.
