A Research on the Application of Information Visualization in the Enterprise's Knowledge Management

KM is a newly emerging tnafiagement mode which deals with all knowledge and people who possess of knowledge within the context of organizations, including knowledge acquisition, codification, storage, sharing in order to promote learning and innovation. IV technology has the power of perception and associations beyond abstract textual information and knowledge, so IV can be applied in KM to improve the efficiency of KM. This paper discusses the concept of IV, application rules which should followed when IV is applied in KM, sums up and analyzes three application patterns, and proposes an integrating application model. It hopes to provide a way to promote the efficiency of KM by using IV technology.
