摘要

The primary function of e-business is to provide an improved interface or process for an organization which would enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of all aspects of the operation. As e-business in China continues to growth, there are several issues that must be considered prior and during the implementation phase of an e-business system. This paper summarizes the factors critical to the success of e-business in China. As well, factors specific to developed countries are identified and compared to current practices in China while focusing on both the macro and micro environments. Suggestions for practitioners planning to launch e-business operations in China are proposed based on the evaluation. Finally, the critical factors for e-business in China are examined from the perspective of their implications on management's operations.
