摘要

This study combines parent-IJV tie strength and learning culture to develop a general model of performance. We analyze this model using a structural equation model approach, with 96 International Joint Ventures in south China selected as the samples of this study. Our results indicate that parent-IJV tie strength positively affects learning culture, and learning culture has significant effect on performance, but parent-IJV tie strength does not have direct impact on performance.Further more, our results provide evidence that learning culture plays a mediating role between parent-IJV tie strength and performance. The results suggest that significant benefits can be achieved for the IJVs’ performance by fostering learning culture.
