The problem of increasing the accuracy of determining the navigation parameters of a spacecraft returning to the atmosphere in the absence of information from external sensors is considered. The scheme of the inertial navigation system correction by estimating its errors is used. The algorithm for constructing a predictive model is based on a linear trend, which is modified using a self-organization algorithm. In the self-organization algorithm, an original selection criterion is used, supplemented by qualitative criteria that allow building a model with improved characteristics. The results of mathematical modeling of short-term, medium-term and long-term prediction of inertial navigation system errors are presented.
