The ground segment of the KOMPSAT-6 (KOrea Multi-Purpose SATellite-6) system has been designed to have functionalities such as monitoring the state of health (SOH) of the satellite, programming and control for the op-eration, receiving and processing synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data to provide standard products to users. This paper addresses conceptual design and procedures for KOMPSAT-6 ground segment considering operational as-pects.
