摘要

Novel efficient and simplified heavy medium coal preparation and slurry treatment processes, developed by Tangshan Guohua Technology Corporation, are introduced and discussed in the paper. The HM process without the need of desliming and sizing of raw coal feed and its industrial performance are described in details. Its performance advantages, such as high separation efficiency, low capital and operating costs, high and stable separation density and tow magnetite consumption, are described. The paper also discusses the development of a novel fine coal circuit with two stages of flotation and recovery and a tailing circuit with two stages of thickening and recovery, which have been used extensively in Chinese coal preparation plants. These new processes have become dominant technologies in China and significantly benefited the coal preparation industry in China.
