Optimization of material consumption at the extrusion of medium, high and extra high voltage cables in CV-lines

X-ray measurement, performed directly after the crosshead, combined with a control system-which gets its information directly out of the scan data-reduces material consumption to a minimum. A generally too strong wall thickness, chosen as a precaution, and CV line start-up scrap things of the past. Based on the above mentioned aspects, the author presents the possibility of simultaneous measurement of all three layers of medium and high voltage cables.
