Polymer dispersions have recieved a great attention in many area including adhesives, surface coating, sealants, and biomedical application (Refs. 1 -3). Especially, not only the control of the particle size but the introduction of functional groups to the surface of the particle is of very importance for their applications. Although polymerization condition is different from each other, polymer particle is readily prepared by particulate polymerization including emulsion, suspension, and dispersion polymerizations in a variety of the reaction mediums. The different size of polymer particle is required for its proper application. The production of a disperse polymer is very important for a special application (Ref. 3).
