This paper describes the characteristics and measures associated with the pretreatment of vanadium and titanium bearing hot metal and steelmaking with semi-steel at Panzhihua iron and steel company (PZHSC). Additionally, measures that will be taken to optimizing the pretreatment of hot metal and steelmaking process at PZHSC are introduced.
