As a kind of renewable,abundant,and widely available resources,chitosan has obtained extensive attention on research and utilization of its derivatives/compounds.Based on excellent film-forming property,chitosan is often applied as template for avoiding aggregation of nanoparticles.In this study,graphene quantum dots with high solubility were prepared by ultrasound and microwave in organic solvent and inorganic solvent,respectively.The obtained graphene quantum dots were subsequently allowed to penetrate into chitosan film.UV-Vis absorption spectra,FT-IR spectra,thermogravimetric analysis,scanning electron microscope(SEM)and X-ray diffraction(XRD)were used to characterize the graphene quantum dots/chitosan composite film.Graphene quantum dot/chitosan composite film shows good catalytic performance on converting 4-nitrophenol to 4-aminophenol.4-nitrophenol was completely reduced in 17 min,and after being used for 5 times,the film still remained a high catalytic activity.
