A CONTENT-AWARE LOAD BALANCING STRATEGY IN WEB CLUSTER SYSTEM

摘要

Web cluster technology is the important method in solving the capacity and scalability of the web system. This paper analyses the main factors which affect the performance of web cluster system. A content-aware load balancing algorithm is proposed, which evaluates the loading status of the servers using the weighted load and improves the cache hit rate through load locality. Simulation experiments show that the algorithm has good load balancing capacity and scalability.
