Research on the academic frontier of international football based on HistCite

摘要

In order to understand the progress of international football research in recent years, to clear up the hot spots, key institutions and key authors of international football academic research, and to promote international cooperation and exchange in Chinese football science, HistCite is used to analyze the research results of football in the core set of Web of Science from 2010 to 2016. There are 3402 articles in English, 8309 authors, 671 journals, 5113 keywords, 2810 research institutes and 91 countries. International football academic frontier focuses on the physical ability of teenagers or professional players (especially running ability), fatigue and recovery, injury, formation change, technology application and so on. In terms of research methods, comparative experiments, video analysis, investigation and observation are the main methods in the world, while GPS and remote sensing positioning techniques are seldom used in China. There are many international academic journals related to football, and the key journals are relatively concentrated. There is little relationship between the distribution of scholars' nationality and the level of football competition in the country. Chinese scholars are very few and mainly Hong Kong writers. At present, the author, academic institutions cooperate with each other and exchange is the norm of international football, and the development space of Chinese football academic circles is huge.
