Carrying out college physical education under the background of “Internet +” can realize open teaching on the Internet and realize complementary learning. Through information technology, network interaction of sports resources, and knowledge precipitation can be realized, so that the supplement and extension of physical education training ground practice can be obtained, thereby improving the efficiency of college physical education. This paper compares and analyzes information technology and traditional education, and concludes that information technology has advantages and functions that traditional education technology can't match. The rational use of information technology in physical education can optimize the teaching situation, stimulate students' interest in learning and mobilize. Students are motivated to learn, and can effectively highlight the key points of teaching and breakthrough teaching difficulties.
