Procedure for Malfunction Detection of Circuits and Systems during Susceptibility Tests

Monitoring the power supply harmonics of equipment during susceptibility tests provides a powerful tool to detect induced malfunctions especially if statistical techniques are adopted. Immunity problems are identified at their onsets by comparing test results to the susceptibility threshold defined on the basis of an assumed probability of false alarm.
